About Word Search
Word Search gives you a grid of letters and a list of themed words hidden inside it, such as animals, food, sport, space, the ocean or the weather. Drag across the letters in a straight line to circle a word. Found words light up in colour and get crossed off the list.
The first round keeps words running left to right and top to bottom. Later rounds use a bigger grid, more words and all eight directions, including diagonals and backwards. Every word scores points, and any time left on the clock when you clear a grid becomes a bonus.
How to play
- Drag from the first letter of a word to the last letter, in any straight line.
- Keyboard: move with the arrows and press Space at the start and end of a word.
- Scan for rare letters such as Z, Q or K first. They are easier to spot.
